EasyOyYa Started a fundraising campaign on Indiegogo, to launch their product. They created an olla sub-surface irrigation system that waters your plants 24/7.
Do you have a garden? Have you ever struggled with watering the plants because, by the time you finished, you could also start again? Plants need continuous irrigation, especially if you live in a rather dry area. If you would like to grow your own vegetables, you will spend a lot of time on gardening. There is one chore, however, that can be taken off your shoulders, and that is regular irrigation.
EasyOyYa uses an ancient method of sub-surface irrigation. A Terracotta/Clay container is buried where the plants are, and with the pipes, 24/7 water supply can be ensured. These unglazed containers let he water through their walls due to the micro porous surface, delivering moisture info the soil. Plants will find where water is coming from and grow their roots in that direction. All you have to do is getting a container that you fill up with water, and gravity takes care of the irrigation.
It doesn’t matter where your garden is. EasyOyYa is ideal for large or smaller allotments, raised beds and planters, herbs and vegetable gardens, community gardens, hydroponic gardens, small farms, greenhouse plants, balcony or patio gardens, and into high-rise apartments.
In the package, you will find 8 EasyOyYas – clay, unglazed olla watering spikes -, 10 meters of tubing, and fittings to connect tubing. Once you have the full kit (the water tank is not part of the package), it is easy to set up, just decide which part of your garden you would like to water, place the ollas, and attach them to the water tank with the tubes.
